Is throwing up a sign of a heart attack?

My father had a heart attack a few years ago, and he mentioned feeling nauseous before it. Now, if I throw up, especially with chest discomfort, does that mean I'm having a heart attack? I get worried easily.

My cardiologist colleague always emphasizes that nausea and vomiting can indeed be atypical symptoms of a heart attack, especially in women and diabetics. If throwing up is accompanied by chest discomfort, shortness of breath, or sweating, please go to the nearest emergency room immediately.

Yes, it actually can be. Nausea and vomiting are known symptoms, especially if there is chest tightness too.

Throwing up is usually food poisoning, but it is also a lesser-known symptom of cardiac arrest. If there is sudden sweating or fatigue along with it, please stop any physical activity and head to a hospital right away. Don't take chances.

Beta, usually throwing up is due to gas or indigestion, but we must never ignore it if the person is also feeling heavy in the chest or sweating. Don't give any home mixtures like ajwain water in such a situation. Take them to a hospital immediately.

Usually we associate vomiting with bad food, but sudden nausea combined with breathlessness or chest tightness is a major cardiac warning sign. Please do not assume it is simple acidity. Seek immediate emergency medical care.

I usually throw up when I overeat spicy street food, but I read that sudden nausea with chest pain is a serious heart symptom. If it is not a normal stomach upset and you feel dizzy or sweaty, skip the antacids and go to the ER.

When my husband had his heart issue, he actually started throwing up and had cold sweats, which we initially mistook for food poisoning. Please do not ignore these signs. It is critical to get to a hospital and get an ECG done immediately.

While simple vomiting can be settled with ginger or pudina water, you must not ignore it if there is pain in the arm, back, or chest. These are serious warning signs of a heart attack. Please go to a hospital emergency room immediately.

Actually yaar, throwing up can be a sign of a heart attack, especially if you are feeling super uneasy and sweating. Don't sit around thinking it is just gas. Better to be safe and go to a casualty ward immediately.

Yes, vomiting was my main symptom before I had my heart attack, along with heavy sweating and discomfort in my jaw. Don't wait for classic chest pain to appear. Go to the nearest emergency clinic right away.
