Is there medication for kidney stones?

I've been having this really bad pain in my side, and my friend suggested it could be kidney stones. If it is, are there any medications that can help with kidney stones, or is it always surgery?

Yes, there are medicines that help flush out kidney stones and relieve pain. You should consult a doctor to get an ultrasound done first.

I panicked so much when I first got a kidney stone, the back pain was insane! But the doctor gave me some syrup and pain relievers, and the 5mm stone passed naturally in a week. It is quite common and treatable, so don't worry.

Agree with others, medicines work well for small stones. Just make sure to increase your daily water intake significantly.

Haan babu, patthari ki dawai aati hai doctor ke paas. Humare bhai ko bhi thha, unhone dawai khai aur khoob paani piya toh patthari nikal gayi. Aap jaldi kisi acche doctor ko dikha lijiye.

Haan, kidney stones ke liye specialized medicines aati hain jo stone ko nikalne me help karti hain. Par bina doctor ke prescription ke mat lena koi bhi painkiller, thik hai na?
