Is there any dengue vaccine?

With dengue outbreaks happening so often, I was thinking about prevention. Is there any specific vaccine available in India for dengue fever that can protect us? My kids go to school and I'm worried.

In our younger days, we didn't even have proper tests for these fevers, but today things are much better. Even if there is no common vaccine available in local clinics right now, don't worry. Dengue is easily managed if you catch it early and drink lots of fluids.

Dengue vaccine is actually a bit complicated, yaar. I think there is one approved globally called Dengvaxia, but it has some strict rules and is not widely used in India yet. It is much better to just focus on mosquito sprays and keeping your society clean for now.

While there are some dengue vaccines approved internationally, they have specific restrictions regarding previous dengue exposure. In India, phase 3 trials for localized vaccines are still ongoing. It is best to consult an infectious disease specialist to understand the current medical status.

Since we don't have a standard vaccine easily available in India yet, building good immunity is our best defense. Staying active with regular walking, keeping hydrated, and eating fresh fruits helps the body fight off infections much faster if you do catch them.

Hey, don't get anxious about dengue vaccines. While global vaccines exist, Indian research labs are currently testing our own local dengue vaccine in clinical trials, which is great news. For now, just protect yourself with good mosquito repellents and full-sleeve clothes.

Just like keeping our blood pressure in check, preventing dengue is all about keeping our surroundings clean. There is no standard, widely available dengue vaccine in our regular Indian hospitals yet. Just focus on routine prevention and see a doctor if you get a sudden fever.

If only we could vaccinate the mosquitoes instead, our lives would be so much simpler! Jokes apart, there isn't a widely used dengue vaccine in Indian pharmacies yet. Until then, standard mosquito bats and coil are your best shields.

I once waited for days thinking a high fever was just a normal cold, and my platelet count dropped to 20,000 before I was rushed to the hospital. Since there is no common vaccine available here yet, please don't ignore any sudden fever. Get a blood test done on day one itself.

I used to panic every monsoon about my kids getting dengue and kept searching for vaccines. But our family pediatrician reassured me that even without a vaccine, dengue is completely manageable with proper hydration and paracetamol. Just keep calm and prevent mosquito breeding at home.

Since there is no vaccine available in our local clinics, I always rely on natural ways to keep mosquitoes away. Burning some neem leaves or using camphor in the evenings works really well to keep the house safe. Of course, if fever strikes, go to a doctor immediately.
