Is there any cure for fatty liver disease?

My recent tests showed I have fatty liver disease, and the doctor said I need to make lifestyle changes. Can fatty liver disease be completely cured, or will I always have to be careful?

Hamare yahan doctor ne bola tha ki fatty liver thik karne ke liye koi alag dawai nahi aati. Bas subah shaam thoda paidal chalo aur ghee-tel kam khao. Mere bhai ne parhez kiya aur uska liver bilkul pehle jaisa thik ho gaya, aap bhi chinta mat karo.

I tried all kinds of herbal juices and decoctions, but honestly, the only thing that worked for my Grade 2 fatty liver was weight loss. Drinking lukewarm water with lemon in the morning is good for digestion, but you must cut down on sweets and fried food to see real results.

I got my liver fibroscan done at a major hospital last month. The specialist clearly told me that Grade 1 fatty liver is completely reversible if you lose 5-10% of your body weight. Don't self-medicate, just get a proper consultation and follow their diet chart.

My physician explained that fatty liver is basically fat accumulation due to metabolic issues. There is no specific drug approved solely to cure it; instead, management focuses on controlling cholesterol, staying active, and avoiding alcohol. It is highly reversible in early stages if you correct your lifestyle.

When I was diagnosed with fatty liver at just 28, I felt so ashamed and cried thinking I had ruined my health. But please don't be hard on yourself, it is extremely common now due to stressful desk jobs. It is fully reversible, so just focus on slow, gentle lifestyle changes.
