Is there a tb outbreak?

I heard some news about a TB outbreak in a neighbouring district. Is there really a TB outbreak happening right now, or is it just a rumour?

I haven't heard of any sudden major TB outbreak recently, as it is an ongoing public health concern in India managed by govt programs. Just like monitoring my BP, keeping up with regular health checks helps prevent complications.

TB is constantly present in our community rather than causing sudden localized 'outbreaks'. If you have a persistent cough for more than two weeks, don't panic but go get your sputum tested at a government center immediately.

No major TB outbreak reported recently as far as I know, bro. TB has always been around in India, so just avoid crowded dusty areas if your immunity is low and see a doctor if you have a bad cough.

There is no current news of an outbreak, my friend. Keep your lungs strong through daily practice of deep pranayama and clean air. If anyone has chronic cough symptoms, kindly advise them to consult a medical doctor.

I was also reading some health news and got really scared about a potential outbreak. Has anyone else in metro cities noticed more people coughing severely lately, or is it just my anxiety acting up?

Oh dear, reading about infectious diseases always makes me super anxious. There is no major news of a sudden TB outbreak, but please wear a mask in crowded places if you are worried about respiratory infections.
