Is there a fever with strep?

My younger sister was diagnosed with strep throat a few weeks ago and she had a high fever. Is it always the case that there is a fever with strep, or can you have strep without one?

Yes, strep throat usually comes with a sudden high fever. Stay positive, drink warm liquids to soothe your throat, and let the doctor's medicines heal your body naturally. Take care and God bless.

Yes, a sudden fever is very common with strep throat. Please consult a general physician for the right antibiotic course and rest well.

I was just reading up on this because my throat is killing me. It turns out strep throat almost always has a fever, unlike a common cold where you usually don't have a high fever. Think I need to see a doctor too.

Absolutely, high fever is a primary symptom of strep throat. Don't waste time trying to treat a bacterial infection with throat lozenges; get a throat swab and start antibiotics from a doctor.

Haan yaar, strep throat mein kaafi tez bukhaar aata hai sath mein gale mein bhayankar dard bhi hota hai. Dr. se check karwa ke antibiotic shuru kar lo, jaldi theek ho jaoge na.

I tried warm turmeric milk and herbal decoctions for my sore throat and fever, but they only gave temporary relief. For strep, you definitely need doctor-prescribed antibiotics to fully cure the fever and throat pain. Don't delay it.

I totally get it, having a burning throat along with a high fever is absolutely miserable. Please don't suffer through it; consult a doctor soon so you can get the right medication and start feeling better.

Hey, don't stress too much! Yes, a fever is super common with strep, but once you start the antibiotics prescribed by your doctor, you'll feel so much better within 24 to 48 hours. Just rest up!

Listen, strep is bacterial, so a fever is bound to happen as your body fights it. Go to a clinic, get a doctor's prescription for antibiotics, and complete the full course. Simple as that.

Strep throat is a bacterial infection, and yes, it causes fever. Please don't trust internet remedies like gargling with salt water to cure it. You need a proper antibiotic prescription from a certified doctor to clear the bacteria.
