Is there a cure for hepatitis b?

A friend of mine was told he has Hepatitis B. He's really down about it, thinking it's a permanent problem. Is there a complete cure available for Hepatitis B now, or is it more about managing it for life?

I was diagnosed with acute Hep B last year and was so scared. My doctor put me on supportive care and monitored my liver enzymes closely, and my body cleared the virus on its own. For chronic cases, there are excellent antivirals to keep the virus inactive, so don't lose hope.

Along with the modern medicines prescribed by your doctor, gentle yoga practices can support liver health. Deep breathing exercises like Anulom Vilom help reduce the stress that accumulates in the body due to chronic illness. Stay calm and trust the healing process.

Haan na, starting me tension to hota hi hai hearing such names. But actually, doctors can manage Hepatitis B very well nowadays with regular tablets. Bas regular checkup karvana padta hai so that liver safe rahe, baki sab normal ho jata hai.

Chill, it's not the 1950s anymore! While chronic Hep B might not have a 100% 'poof-it's-gone' cure, modern medicines are so good they can basically make the virus go into permanent hibernation. Just let your hepatologist do the heavy lifting while you avoid the street food for a bit.

Keep your mind strong and full of positive thoughts, as a peaceful mind helps the body fight any illness. Take your prescribed medicines on time and leave the rest to God. Regular checkups and self-care will keep you healthy and active.

At 50, my body has a new issue every month, so I completely understand the worry. With Hep B, doctors have super effective suppressive therapies even if a complete cure is tricky. Just take your pills regularly and stop googling symptoms late at night!

I don't know much about this, but is Hepatitis B something that spreads easily among family members? My cousin was asking about it recently, so I wanted to understand if we should all get vaccinated just to be safe.
