Is there a cancer vaccine?

I was reading an article online about new medical advancements, and it made me wonder about cancer. Are scientists working on a vaccine for cancer, similar to how we have vaccines for other diseases? It would be such a breakthrough.

Actually yaar, there is no single vaccine that cures all cancers. But there are preventive ones like the HPV vaccine for cervical cancer which my sister got. You should definitely check with a doc about what is available now.

When I visited Medanta recently, I asked the specialists about this. They explained that while preventive vaccines like HPV exist, treatment vaccines are still mostly in clinical trials. It is always best to book a proper consultation to understand the science directly from experts.

Man, if there was one magical shot for all cancers, our moms would have forced us to get it already like polio drops! Jokes apart, we only have specific preventive ones right now like HPV and Hep B. Let's hope science catches up fast.

I totally understand why you are asking this, health anxiety makes us search for these things late at night. There are vaccines like HPV that prevent cancer-causing infections, and researchers are working on others. Speak to an oncologist to ease your mind, it really helps to get facts.

In our family, we usually look up traditional options, but my uncle who is a doctor insists on modern preventive shots. He highly recommends the HPV vaccine for young women and men. It is always wise to trust registered medical practitioners on this.
