Is there a 6 month sleep regression?

Our 6-month-old baby, who was sleeping through the night, has suddenly started waking up every couple of hours. Everyone is telling me it's the '6-month sleep regression'. Is there really a sleep regression that happens around 6 months?

Yes, the 6-month mark is a common time for a sleep regression due to developmental leaps like rolling, sitting up, or even object permanence. Maintain a strict bedtime routine, ensure a conducive sleep environment, and avoid creating new sleep associations. It's a temporary phase, but consistency is key.

Oh, yes, my mother-in-law used to say babies become very active around six months, and sleep can be disturbed. It's quite normal, they're learning so much! Still, if you are very worried, a quick chat with the pediatrician is always good, just to be sure nothing else is going on.

My baby tracker app showed a dip in sleep quality around 6 months, so yes, it's definitely a thing. It often coincides with major motor development. Try to observe their sleepy cues and adjust nap times if needed. Consistency with the sleep routine helps a lot.

Haan, 6 months pe sleep regression hota hai. Bachche palatna, baithna seekhte hain, toh neend toot jaati hai. Don't worry too much, just keep a good routine, and it will pass. Sab ke saath hota hai.

Yes, around six months, a baby's senses are very alert, and they are developing rapidly. This can disturb their peaceful sleep. Gentle massages and a calm environment before bedtime, perhaps some soft lullabies, can help soothe them into a more restful state.

Six months? That's when they realize they can actually MOVE! So yeah, sleep takes a backseat to mastering their new superpowers. Prepare for some sleepless nights, but hey, at least they're getting stronger, right? You'll get through it!
