Is the thyroid part of the lymphatic system?

My doctor was explaining something about my immune system and mentioned lymph nodes, but then he also talked about my thyroid. I'm a bit confused. Is the thyroid actually a part of the lymphatic system, or are they completely separate?

No, it's not part of the lymphatic system. The thyroid is an endocrine gland, handling hormones. Lymphatic system is for immunity. I had complications due to a thyroid issue, so I can confirm they are distinct. Always see a doctor for clarification if you're concerned.

Yaar, na, it's not. Thyroid is an endocrine gland, it's all about hormones and metabolism. Lymphatic system is for immunity, you know, fighting off diseases. Actually, they're separate systems. Don't confuse them.

No, it's not. The thyroid is an endocrine gland; it produces hormones. The lymphatic system is more about your body's immune response. Both are crucial, but functionally different. Staying fit supports both generally, but they're not connected that way.

From what I understand, no, the thyroid is not part of the lymphatic system. They have different roles. The thyroid is endocrine, dealing with hormones, which can affect many things, similar to how PCOS affects hormones. Always get proper medical advice.

From my years of dealing with thyroid, I can confidently say it's not part of the lymphatic system. Thyroid produces hormones; the lymphatic system handles immunity and fluid balance. They are distinct. If you have any swelling or concerns in the neck, see a doc, they can identify which system is affected.

Nah, pretty sure it's not. Lymphatic system is for immunity, like fighting infections, right? Thyroid is about hormones, different job entirely. We learned this in biology. Easy to mix up though, so many systems!

Nope, different systems. Thyroid is for hormones. Lymphatic is for immune function and waste removal. Both are key for a healthy body, that's why diet and exercise are important overall. But they aren't the same system.
