Is the liver under the rib cage?

I sometimes get a dull ache on my right side, below my ribs. My doctor was asking about my liver function recently. Is the liver located right there, under the rib cage, that's why he asked?

Yes, absolutely! My health and anatomy apps clearly show the liver located mostly under the right side of the rib cage. It's a protective measure by our body to shield such a vital organ.

Yes, it is, right on the right side. When you practice deep breathing or certain yoga asanas, you can sometimes feel the gentle movement and expansion in that area. It's protected by the ribs, which is good for such an important organ.

Yes, my dear, the liver is indeed under the rib cage, mainly on the right side. It is a very important organ and our body protects it well. If you feel any pain there, always consult a doctor, please.

Haa beta, the liver is safely tucked under your rib cage, mostly on the right side. That's why if you ever hurt yourself there, it's very serious. Our body protects the most vital parts.

Yup, it's mostly under the right rib cage. That's why it's usually well-protected. If there's any tenderness or pain in that area, it's always good to get it checked out, because it could be liver-related or something else.
