Is the liver behind the ribs?

My father recently had a check-up, and the doctor mentioned his liver. I was just visualizing where it is in the body, and I remember it's covered by the ribs. Can someone confirm, is the liver located behind the ribs?

Oh, I was actually wondering about this too! So it's mostly covered by the ribs, right? That makes sense, it's such a vital organ, it needs to be protected.

Yes, a large part of the liver is indeed protected by the lower ribs on the right side of your body. My doctor explained that its strategic position helps shield it from external impacts. It's mostly in the upper right quadrant of the abdomen.

Yes, a significant portion is behind the lower right ribs. I get worried about any organ pain in that area sometimes, wondering if it's the liver. It's good to know it's protected, but if you have any discomfort, it's always best to get it checked out by a doctor.

Yes, the liver is primarily located in the upper right abdomen, largely under the protection of the lower rib cage. It's a crucial organ, so any persistent pain there needs quick medical attention. Don't delay seeing a specialist.

Haan na, the liver is mostly behind your ribs, on the right side. It's a big organ, so it needs that protection. Just make sure you take good care of it with healthy eating.

It's natural to wonder about where our organs are! Yes, the liver is mainly located under your lower right ribs. It's tucked away there, well-protected. If you're feeling any pain or unusual sensations around that area, don't hesitate to consult a doctor to ease your mind.
