Is the liver behind the rib cage?

I've been feeling a bit of discomfort in my upper abdomen, and I'm trying to pinpoint where different organs are located. I was trying to remember, is the liver located behind the rib cage? Trying to understand what's where inside.

Yes, a significant portion of the liver is indeed located behind and protected by the lower right rib cage. It extends into the upper abdomen. For any health concerns related to organ placement or function, a doctor's consultation is always the most reliable source of information.

Yes, mostly. The liver is located in the upper right part of your abdomen, and a good portion of it is protected by the lower ribs. It's a big organ, so some parts might extend a bit below. But yes, behind the ribs is correct.

Correct, mostly. The liver sits primarily in the upper right quadrant of your abdomen, largely shielded by your ribs. It's a critical organ. Don't waste time on self-diagnosis if you have pain; see a doc quickly.

Yes, beta, it is! The liver is a large organ located mostly in the upper right side of your tummy, and your ribs cover a good part of it for protection. It's nature's way of keeping our important organs safe. Keep yourself healthy with good food.

Man, it feels like everything's behind something these days! But yes, the liver is mostly tucked away behind your lower ribs on the right side. Smart move by the body, needs all the protection it can get from my late-night snacking habits!

Yes, it is. The liver is mainly situated under the right rib cage, extending a bit towards the left. All organs are interconnected, and a healthy liver is vital for overall metabolism, just like a balanced thyroid. Regular tests and doctor consultations are important for all our internal health.
