Is the liver an organ?

My biology teacher asked us to list human organs today, and I got confused. Is the liver an organ or something else? I always thought it was, but my friend said it was more of a gland.

Haan ji, bilkul! The liver is a super important organ, like one of the main ones in our body. It does so much, from helping with digestion to cleaning out toxins. So yeah, definitely an organ!

Yes, the liver is a major organ, not a muscle or anything like that. It's involved in your metabolism and energy. A good diet and regular exercise, approved by your doctor, can help keep your liver, and all your organs, functioning optimally.

Oh, for sure! I actually just looked it up recently because I was curious. It's the largest internal organ in our body and does tons of crucial functions. Pretty amazing, right?

Of course, liver is an organ. It's one of the most important organs in the body. Don't confuse it with anything else. Just take care of it with healthy food, that's it.

Yes, absolutely! The liver is a vital organ, doing hundreds of jobs like filtering blood, making bile, and storing energy. It's not a muscle or a bone, but a soft, glandular organ. Keep it healthy!
