Is tb viral or bacteria?

I was having a discussion with my friend about different infections, and the topic of TB came up. He said it's a bacterial infection, but I thought it was viral. Can someone clarify if TB is viral or bacterial in nature?

Haha, good question! TB is a bacteria, not a virus. So it's more like a tiny annoying germ, not a sneaky shapeshifter virus. That's why antibiotics work, viruses are too cool for antibiotics. 😉

Understanding what causes an illness helps in managing it, just like knowing what we eat. TB is caused by a type of bacteria, Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This is important because it means different treatments compared to viral infections.

Straight up, TB is bacterial. Caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This is why it's treated with antibiotics, which don't work against viruses. Clear and simple.

Bahut confusion hoti hai inn sab mein. But haan, TB bacteria se hota hai. Isliye iski dawaiyan bhi alag hoti hain virus wali bimariyon se. Kabhi koi problem ho toh doctor se hi poochhna chahiye, apne mann se kuch nahi karna.

Oh, this is a common confusion! TB is caused by bacteria, not a virus. It's good to know the difference because the treatment approach is very different. Always best to confirm medical facts with a professional.

Just like you need different training for different muscle groups, you need different treatment for different types of germs! TB is bacterial, not viral. So, antibiotics are key, not antivirals.

This is a super important distinction! TB is definitely caused by bacteria. If it was viral, the treatment would be completely different, and that's a scary thought. So, bacterial, phew!

When I visit the hospital, I always ask the doctor to explain these things clearly. TB is bacterial. It's caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Knowing this helps understand why specific medications are prescribed.

Okay, let me clear this up for you. TB is caused by bacteria, specifically Mycobacterium tuberculosis. So, it's a bacterial infection, not a viral one. This means treatments like antibiotics are used for it, which won't work for viruses. Hope that helps!

Good question, many people get confused! TB is a bacterial infection. This is crucial because it means antibiotics are the primary treatment. Viruses and bacteria are very different, medically speaking.
