Is tb still deadly?

My uncle recently got diagnosed with TB, and everyone in the family is quite worried. I always thought it was an old disease, but it seems like people still get it. Is it still as deadly as it used to be, or has medicine made it less dangerous now?

While medical science has advanced greatly, TB can still be deadly if not treated properly or if treatment is not completed. Just like managing my diabetes, consistent follow-up with the doctor and adherence to medication are key. Don't take it lightly.

Beta, if you don't take the doctor's medicine properly, any big disease can be bad. TB needs time and full course of medicines. If you leave it halfway, then yes, it can become very serious. So listen to the doctor completely.

Honestly, anything can feel deadly when you're sleep-deprived, haha! But yes, on a serious note, TB can still be deadly if it's not diagnosed and treated correctly. It's curable, but you have to be disciplined with the meds. So don't take chances.

While TB is largely treatable with modern medicine, it can still be deadly if left undiagnosed or if the full course of treatment is not completed. Drug-resistant forms also pose a significant challenge. This highlights the importance of immediate medical consultation and strict adherence to doctor's advice.

Yes, it can still be very dangerous if ignored. Just like with high BP, regular checkups and discipline with medicines are vital. If you have any symptoms, please don't delay seeing a doctor. Early treatment saves lives, beta.
