My friend's relative was diagnosed with TB and everyone around them is a bit scared. We're trying to figure out how careful we need to be. Is TB spreadable easily?

Yes, it is spreadable, but not through casual contact like shaking hands or sharing food. It's mainly airborne, from prolonged close contact with someone who has active lung TB. That's why early diagnosis and treatment are crucial to stop the spread. Just be aware, don't panic.

Yes, TB is definitely spreadable, especially the active pulmonary (lung) form. It spreads through the air when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or even speaks, releasing tiny airborne droplets containing the bacteria. That's why isolation and proper medication adherence are very important.

Haan ji, bilkul spreadable hai. Hawa se hi toh failta hai, jab koi khans ta ya chheenkta hai. Isliye jab kisi ko TB hota hai, toh unko bolte hain muh dhak ke rakho aur dawai time pe lo, taaki doosron ko na phailaye. Na?

Yes, TB is indeed communicable. That's why it's so important to get tested if you have symptoms or have been in close contact with someone with TB. Early detection and treatment not only help the individual but also prevent further spread in the community. Always prioritize safety.

Yeah, it totally is spreadable, especially the type that affects the lungs. My friend had it and her doctor explained that it spreads through air particles when she coughed. So being careful and seeking treatment quickly is super important for everyone around you.

Yes, beta, it is. That's why in our time, if someone had khansi for long, they would be careful not to spread it. It goes through the air. But now we have good doctors and medicines, so if someone gets it, they can be treated and won't spread it much after some time. Don't fear, just be aware.
