Is tb on the rise?

I keep hearing about new cases of TB in the news and amongst my acquaintances. It feels like more people are getting it now. Is TB on the rise in India?

Dekho, numbers toh fluctuate hote rehte hain. Important ye hai ki apna dhyan rakho aur symptoms hain toh doctor ko dikhao. Baat khatam. Faltu stress mat lo.

While there's a lot of data out there, the best source for this kind of information, especially regarding public health trends, would be official health organizations. For personal concerns, get a checkup. Don't rely solely on news headlines.

As a parent, I'm always concerned about these trends. What I've gathered is that awareness and testing have improved, so maybe more cases are being detected. But yes, it's still a significant health challenge. Keep your family healthy with good hygiene and check-ups.

I can only speak from my experience; I had a friend who got it recently, and I heard about a few cases in my office too. So, anecdotally, it feels like it's still very much present. But I'm not a doctor, so can't give medical info.

Rising or not, we must always be careful. I have high BP myself, so I know how important regular checkups and a healthy lifestyle are. If you have any doubt, don't wait, go to a doctor for a full check-up, especially for something like TB.
