Is tb a airborne disease?

My son's school had a health awareness session and they talked about TB. I'm worried about it spreading. Is TB actually an airborne disease that can spread easily through the air?

Yeah, from what I've learned from health apps and articles, TB (Tuberculosis) is indeed an airborne disease. It spreads when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks, releasing tiny droplets containing the bacteria into the air. That's why masks and ventilation are important in crowded places if someone is infected. Keep checking reliable health sources for updates.

Is TB airborne? Yep, it's like a tiny, unwanted guest that catches a ride on your coughs and sneezes to visit new lungs! So yeah, it floats around in the air. That's why doctors always stress covering your mouth. It's not a fan of fresh air, apparently!

Yes, TB is an airborne disease. This is what the doctors at Apollo Hospital explained very clearly when my relative had it. The bacteria can stay in the air for some time. This is why isolation and good ventilation are very important. If you have concerns, or think you've been exposed, please ask your doctor about getting tested and taking precautions.

When you hear about diseases spreading through the air, it can feel really unsettling and make you quite anxious, I totally remember feeling that way during the pandemic. Yes, TB is considered airborne. It spreads when an infected person expels the bacteria into the air, and others breathe it in. It's why awareness and proper precautions are so important.

I can't give medical advice, but from what I recall from public health campaigns and general knowledge, TB is indeed spread through the air. You hear about how important it is for people with TB to cover their mouths to prevent it from spreading. It’s pretty common knowledge, but if you have specific concerns, a doctor is the best person to ask.
