Is tallow cream good for eczema?

My cousin suggested tallow cream for my chronic eczema. I've tried so many things and nothing seems to work properly. Does anyone know if this is actually effective or just another fad?

Tallow cream for eczema? Interesting. I've always focused on what goes *inside* the body for skin health. For BP, it's diet and stress management. For eczema, too, what you eat can affect your skin. But if you're trying topical things, always check with a dermatologist. Don't just put anything on your skin without professional advice.

I suffered from eczema for ages, and tried so many things. Tallow cream actually helped my skin a lot! It's very moisturizing and seemed to calm the inflammation. But everyone's skin is different, so maybe try a small patch first. It worked for me when many other creams didn't.

Tallow cream for eczema, huh? At this point, I'd try anything to get some sleep without scratching! Honestly, if it helps moisturize and doesn't irritate, go for it. But getting enough sleep also helps my skin, which is a struggle sometimes. Hope it works for you!

My sister has bad eczema, and she tried some tallow-based balm. She said it helped with the dryness, but didn't completely cure it, you know? It's like, just moisturizing. So yeah, might help with symptoms, but don't expect miracles. Patch test it first.

Hello! Tallow cream has gained popularity for eczema because it's rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, and contains fatty acids similar to those found naturally in healthy skin. Many people find it to be a very nourishing and soothing moisturizer that helps with dryness and inflammation associated with eczema. However, as with any new product, it's always wise to do a patch test first to ensure it suits your skin. Everyone's skin reacts differently!
