Is sweating a sign that fever is breaking?

My son has had a high fever for two days, and just now, he's started to sweat quite heavily. My mother always says this means the fever is finally breaking. Is sweating a clear indication that a fever is subsiding?

Haan ji, usually jab fever utarta hai na, tab pasina aata hai. It's your body's natural way to cool down. So, it's generally a good sign that the fever is breaking. Bas paani acche se peete rehna, warna dehydration ho sakta hai.

Haan, bilkul! I've tried so many home remedies for fever, and almost always, when the fever is about to go down, a good sweat starts. It means your body is doing its job to cool itself. Just make sure to wipe yourself dry and change clothes, and definitely drink lots of water or ORS.

Yes, typically, sweating is a physiological response indicating that the body's core temperature is falling, often signaling that a fever is breaking. However, if the fever persists or is accompanied by other severe symptoms, always consult a medical professional for clarity and proper diagnosis. Don't hesitate to visit a good hospital.

Haan beta, humare bade bhi yahi kehte the. Jab pasina aata hai toh samajh jao bukhar toot raha hai. Bas garma garam paani piyo, kapda badal lo aur acchi neend lo. Zyaada thandi hawa se bachna.

I can confidently say, yes! Every time I've had a fever, the sweating phase was the signal that things were getting better. Your body is just trying to cool itself down. Drink plenty of fluids like clear soup or coconut water, and take rest. You'll feel better soon.

For anyone, especially diabetics, when you have a fever and start sweating, it's generally a good sign as it means your body is bringing its temperature down. But remember to stay well-hydrated to prevent blood sugar imbalances. Always monitor your sugar levels closely during fever and consult your doctor if needed.

According to most health resources and my fitness tracker's info on fever, sweating is a classic sign that your body is recovering and trying to regulate its temperature downwards. It's your body's cooling mechanism kicking in after fighting the infection. Keep tracking your temperature, and stay hydrated!
