Is stomach cancer deadly?

My uncle recently got diagnosed with stomach cancer and it’s very worrying for our family. We are trying to understand how serious this condition really is. Can someone shed some light on its fatality rate?

Honestly, any cancer is serious, but catching it early makes a huge difference in both treatment success and cost. If you have constant stomach issues, don't keep buying OTC antacids to save money. Better to plan a budget for a proper gastroenterologist consultation and an endoscopy first so you know exactly what is happening.

Yaar, don't search these things on Google, it will only show extreme cases and scare you. Actually, if it is caught in stage 1 or 2, it is highly treatable these days. Just get a proper screening done if there are bad symptoms instead of stressing out online.

It can be dangerous if ignored for a long time, which is why regular checkups are so important. Just like my thyroid issues, keeping a track of your blood reports and visiting the specialist regularly helps catch any abnormality before it gets out of hand.

Even I keep getting severe acidity and then I end up reading such scary things online and panic. Has anyone else here had chronic bloating and worried about this? How did you guys convince yourself to go get tested without getting too scared?

My uncle always says that staying positive and eating simple home food is half the cure, but for serious things, doctor's word is final. Stomach cancer is serious, yes, but medical science has advanced so much now. Please consult an oncologist who can guide you with the right facts.
