Is stevia bad for diabetics?

My husband has diabetes and he's using stevia in his tea instead of sugar. My neighbor told me stevia is bad for diabetics in the long run. Is this true?

I can only speak from my own experience, but I have been using stevia in my morning tea for two years now. My blood sugar levels haven't shown any weird spikes because of it. It has worked well as a sugar substitute for me.

My father was recently diagnosed with diabetes and he is missing his sweet tea so much. Is stevia really safe to use every day? Please let me know if there are any specific brands that are natural and good.

Haan, stevia toh kaafi sahi hai sugar patients ke liye na. Yeh natural hota hai toh artificial sweeteners se toh bohot behtar hai. Humare ghar mein bhi pitaji chai mein yahi dalte hain aur unka sugar control mein hai.

Stevia is actually a plant-based sweetener and has zero calories, so it doesn't impact your insulin levels. Just check the label to make sure it doesn't contain added fillers like maltodextrin, which can raise blood sugar. Pure stevia is perfectly fine.

My mom has diabetes and she uses stevia in almost everything sweet she makes. It has a slightly weird aftertaste in the beginning, but you get used to it. It is definitely not bad for diabetics, much safer than normal sugar.

Everyone on the internet says stevia is natural and safe, but I don't trust these trends blindly. Many packaged stevia products have hidden chemicals. You should definitely verify with your diabetologist before replacing your regular diet items.

Stevia is globally recognized as a safe, non-nutritive sweetener for diabetics since it doesn't affect glycemic response. However, chemical configurations can vary between brands. It is always best to run it by your doctor to see if it suits your specific health profile.

Arey nahi re, stevia bad nahi hai! Yeh toh diabetics ka best friend hai jab sweet cravings hoti hain. Bas ise thoda dhyan se use karna, thoda sa dalne par hi bohot meetha ho jata hai!
