Is stem cell therapy for back pain fda-approved?

I've had chronic back pain for years, and someone suggested looking into stem cell therapy. Before I consult a doctor, I wanted to know if stem cell therapy for back pain is actually FDA-approved or not.

My cousin was looking into this for his chronic lower back pain last year. From what we understood from his orthopedic specialist, it is not widely FDA-approved for back issues and is still considered experimental. Please speak to a qualified doctor before spending on these treatments.

I have tried everything from warm mustard oil massages to special herbal belts for my back ache. When I asked a senior doctor about stem cells, he told me it's not approved yet and can be extremely expensive with no guaranteed results. Stick to proven therapies.

No, it is actually not FDA-approved for back pain right now. Please be very careful with clinics promising miracle cures.

I have seen many people search for quick fixes for back pain, but such advanced therapies are often not fully approved or proven yet. Gentle daily stretches and strengthening exercises have personally helped my spine stay supple and pain-free. Do consult a specialist first.

These fancy therapies sound good but they are not approved and cost lakhs of rupees. For normal people like us, proper physiotherapy, posture correction, and a good hard mattress work much better. Save your money and see a regular orthopedist first.

My dad was researching this too because his slip disc was troubling him daily. We found out that FDA has actually only approved stem cell products for certain blood disorders, not for orthopedics or back pain. Better to stick to standard physical therapy recommended by your doc!
