My brother-in-law uses steel cut oats instead of rice for his dinner, as advised by our family physician. They are very rich in beta-glucan fiber which helps in managing blood glucose. Please do consult your doctor to find the portion size that fits your routine.

When my father was first diagnosed, I panicked and thought he could never eat any carbs again. But then we switched his morning breakfast to steel cut oats and his HbA1c actually improved. It is totally safe and nothing to worry about.

Yes, they are highly recommended. Unlike instant oats which are pre-cooked and rolled thin, steel cut oats take longer to digest. This slow digestion prevents sudden insulin spikes. It's a solid choice for any diabetic diet.

Haan beta, steel cut oats sugar wale logo ke liye bohot ache bataye jate hain. Humare ghar mein bhi sab ise daliya ki tarah banakar khate hain. Isse pet bhi bhara rehta hai aur kamzori bhi nahi lagti.

You can definitely opt for steel cut oats without worrying too much. They are basically whole oat groats chopped into pieces, so they keep your sugar stable. Just be careful with what you mix in them—stick to veggies or a few nuts.
