Is steak ok for diabetics?

My doctor recently diagnosed me with diabetes. I'm trying to figure out what I can and cannot eat now. Is it okay for diabetics to have steak sometimes?

Haan, sugar levels toh bilkul nahi badhte steak khane se kyuki isme carbs nahi hote. Par excessive red meat heart ke liye acha nahi hai, toh portion control dhyan mein rakhna chahiye na.

I was looking this up for my uncle, and it seems steak has zero carbs so it won't raise blood sugar levels. But many health websites say diabetics need to watch their heart health, so red meat should be eaten in moderation.

While steak may not increase glucose instantly, heavy red meat can create acidity and slow down digestion. Practicing light yoga and focusing on lighter protein sources like paneer or dal is much gentler on a diabetic system.

Managing diabetes is all about balance. If you are having steak, try pairing it with home remedies like apple cider vinegar or a warm cinnamon drink later to help with digestion and overall metabolic health.

I can't give medical advice, but my father is diabetic and eats lean steak once in a while without any issues. We just make sure it is grilled cleanly without heavy, sugary marinades.

Please be very careful and consult your doctor first. I had high sugar and ignored my cholesterol levels while eating red meat, which later led to cardiovascular complications. Always get your lipid profile monitored regularly.
