Is stage four lung cancer curable?

My neighbour has just been told she has stage four lung cancer. Everyone in the building is very worried about her. I wanted to ask if this type of cancer can actually be cured at such an advanced stage.

Let's be real here. Stage 4 lung cancer is generally not curable because it has spread. But that doesn't mean there's no treatment. Doctors have great target therapies now that can control it, so go get proper treatment.

A complete cure is very difficult at this stage. Please don't try any home herbs thinking they will cure cancer; you must go to a big hospital. You can only use light home food to give them strength during the treatment.

Hearing 'stage 4' is an emotional nightmare, and I completely validate how broken you must feel. While a complete cure is rare, focusing on the treatment plan helps ease the pain and gives you meaningful time together. Stay strong.

I panicked like crazy when my relative got this diagnosis and thought the worst. But the oncologist reassured us that with modern medicine, it's managed like a chronic illness. They are doing quite well now, so please stay calm.

Managing advanced conditions is all about constant monitoring. Just like I need regular thyroid testing, lung cancer patients need frequent scans and blood work. Keep up with your doctor follow-ups to keep the disease under control.
