Is stage 4 cancer bad?

Someone I know has stage 4 cancer. I don't know much about it, but it sounds very serious. I just want to understand if it's always 'bad' or if there are different ways it can be managed.

I absolutely panicked when my uncle got diagnosed, thinking the worst immediately. But after seeing him undergo treatment and live comfortably, I realized it is highly manageable now.

It is a serious condition that requires extreme discipline. Just like I have to manage my sugar levels daily, stage 4 cancer requires strict adherence to treatment and clean eating.

It is a critical stage that requires immediate medical action. Regular checkups, monitoring symptoms, and keeping stress low are absolutely essential to handle this.

Let's be direct, stage 4 is serious because it has spread, but 'bad' is a relative term. With advanced targeted therapies, it can be controlled for a very long time.

I've been living with stage 4 cancer for three years. It is tough, but my advice is to focus on palliative care to manage pain and keep a positive mindset.
