Is sourdough bread good for your liver?

My father has some liver issues and we are trying to find foods that are easy on his system. I've heard sourdough bread is good for digestion. Could sourdough bread also be beneficial for liver health?

I had elevated liver enzymes last year and had to clean up my diet completely. Switching to sourdough helped ease my digestion, which indirectly takes some load off the liver. But remember, the main key was cutting out alcohol and deep-fried foods.

Yes, sourdough is much easier to digest and gentler on your overall system than processed white bread.

We don't need to overcomplicate things with fancy breads. If you want to keep your liver healthy, just eat freshly cooked ghar ka khana and minimize bakery items entirely. Sourdough is fine occasionally, but simple roti-sabzi is always best.

Your liver does so much work to keep you clean and healthy, so treat it with kindness. Eating natural, fermented foods like authentic sourdough is a wonderful way to support your body. Stay happy and eat in moderate amounts.

I am no medical expert, but when I had gut issues that affected my energy levels, switching to sourdough bread helped me feel much lighter. It didn't cause that heavy bloating, which made me feel my liver was processing things better.
