Is smoking weed bad for your liver?

I've been smoking weed on and off for a couple of years now. My doctor recently mentioned some liver enzyme levels were slightly off. Could smoking weed be bad for your liver?

Yes, heavy cannabis use can worsen liver scarring if you already have fatty liver. Please get a liver function test to be safe.

My elders always advise that anything that alters your state of mind also places a heavy burden on your internal organs. Doctors agree that chronic weed use can interfere with liver health, especially if combined with other medications or alcohol. Please consult a specialist and take care of your body.

I ignored my abnormal digestion and fatigue for a year, assuming it was normal, and ended up with severe liver inflammation. If you are consuming weed and worried about your liver, please do not make the mistake I did. Go get a proper blood test and doctor's checkup immediately.

The relationship between cannabis and liver health is complex, but medical consensus suggests it can exacerbate conditions like fatty liver disease or hepatitis. To understand how it specifically impacts your body, a proper medical evaluation is essential. It is always best to seek professional clinical advice.

I just went through a health scare where my liver enzymes were highly elevated, and my doctor told me to stop smoking weed immediately as it was contributing to the inflammation. Within two months of quitting, my liver reports came back completely normal. Please take care of your liver before it gets worse.

When we noticed some symptoms in our family, we went to a top gastroenterologist at a multi-specialty hospital to get clear answers. The doctor explained that weed can indeed affect liver cell function and lipid metabolism. Please book an appointment with a specialist and ask your doctor clearly about the risks.

Having PCOS has made me extra careful about how everything we consume affects our liver and metabolism. While weed is often called natural, it still has to be processed by your liver, which can cause strain. It's safer to avoid it and talk to a doctor about how to keep your liver healthy.

If you are busy with work and don't have time for health complications, stop consuming things that stress your liver. Studies show weed can accelerate liver fibrosis in people with existing liver conditions. Get a quick LFT scan done over the weekend and consult a doctor.
