Is smoking weed bad for kidney?

A few of my friends smoke weed occasionally, and one of them has kidney issues. He was asking if smoking weed is bad for your kidney. I'm curious about this too.

Smoking weed can put stress on your kidneys because it affects blood pressure and hydration levels. To keep kidneys healthy, drinking plenty of warm water and barley water helps detoxify naturally. But if you already have kidney issues, please avoid these habits and consult a doctor immediately.

In our family, we are taught to keep the body clean of all toxins to protect vital organs. Medical experts say that heavy use of weed can lead to kidney injury, especially if it causes sudden changes in blood flow. Please consult a qualified doctor to understand how it affects your personal health.

I can only speak from my own experience when I was using cannabis heavily a few years ago. I started noticing severe dehydration and my kidney function tests showed slight variations, which improved once I stopped. It's always best to get your blood work done to see what is happening in your body.

Bro, smoking weed definitely messes with your hydration, and dehydration is the worst enemy of your kidneys. I used to smoke a lot and suffered from constant back aches and dark urine until I cut down. Take it easy on your body and drink more water.

At fifty-two, my kidneys struggle even if I drink one extra cup of strong tea, let alone smoking weed! In all seriousness, weed can fluctuate your blood pressure, which directly impacts kidney filtration. Do your organs a favor and keep things clean, your body will thank you later.

I went through a really tough phase where I relied on weed for my anxiety, and admitting it was affecting my physical health was so hard. When my doctor told me it was straining my kidneys and heart, I felt so guilty. Please don't be hard on yourself, but do seek help to protect your health.

I totally get it, it can be really stressful to worry about how your lifestyle habits are affecting your organs. While some think weed is harmless, research shows it can indeed put a load on the kidneys over time. Please consider getting a simple kidney function test done to be safe.

If you are worried about your kidneys, don't ignore it because treating chronic kidney issues later is extremely expensive. You can get a basic Kidney Function Test (KFT) done at a local diagnostic lab for just 400-500 rupees. Plan this test first so you have concrete facts before seeing a doctor.

I don't know much about this topic, but my friend was saying that weed is natural and doesn't harm any organs. Is that actually true, or does the smoke and chemical compounds still affect the kidneys like regular tobacco does? I would love to understand this better.

I completely panicked when I had a dull ache in my back and thought my weed habit had ruined my kidneys. I went to a urologist who did an ultrasound and told me it was just a muscle strain and mild dehydration. Just make sure you stay hydrated and get a routine checkup to ease your mind.
