Is sleep token nu metal?
My friend who listens to a lot of heavy music said that Sleep Token reminds her of nu-metal bands. I'm not very familiar with that genre. Is Sleep Token nu metal?

Bhai, they are a new age band and not exactly like the old nu metal bands we used to hear. Their music is quite mix and different. Take care of yourself.

Definitely not nu metal. Nu metal is Linkin Park or Korn. Sleep Token is more like progressive metal meets indie pop. It's a completely different vibe altogether.

At my age, all metal sounds the same to my ears! But youngsters tell me Sleep Token is progressive rock, not nu metal. As long as it doesn't give me a backache, I am fine with whatever genre it is.
