Is skyrizi for psoriatic arthritis?

My neighbour has really bad psoriatic arthritis, and he's struggling with his current treatment. I heard about a medication called Skyrizi. Is Skyrizi specifically for psoriatic arthritis, or does it treat other conditions too?

For serious conditions like psoriatic arthritis, you need expert medical care. Like for my BP, regular checkups and prescribed meds are key. Skyrizi is a known biologic for this, but only a rheumatologist can confirm if it's the right choice for your specific health needs.

Yes, Skyrizi is used for psoriatic arthritis. But these are advanced treatments, so you can't just take it without proper consultation. It's not like taking a paracetamol. You need to talk to a good specialist doctor to see if this is suitable for you.

Beta, with so many new medicines coming out, it's easy to get confused. Skyrizi is indeed prescribed for psoriatic arthritis, but these are powerful drugs with potential side effects. Always trust your doctor's judgment on such important matters.

My cousin's son has psoriatic arthritis, and their doctor discussed Skyrizi as an option. It's important to understand all the pros and cons with the doctor, and get all your questions answered. Make sure you get a second opinion if you're unsure.

My doctor, a rheumatologist, confirmed that Skyrizi (risankizumab) is an approved biologic for the treatment of psoriatic arthritis. It targets specific inflammatory pathways. However, the decision to use it depends on the severity, previous treatments, and other individual health factors, so please consult your specialist.
