Is skyrizi approved for psoriatic arthritis?

My wife has been suffering from psoriatic arthritis for a long time and her doctor suggested a new medicine called Skyrizi. Is Skyrizi approved specifically for psoriatic arthritis here in India?

I've tried so many things for my arthritis, from turmeric to castor oil, and nothing truly helped like proper medication. Skyrizi has shown good results for psoriatic arthritis, but it's a strong medicine. Always go to a specialist doc for such decisions.

Yes, Skyrizi (risankizumab) is approved for the treatment of psoriatic arthritis in adults. It's a biologic medication. However, treatment decisions for complex conditions like this should always be made in consultation with a rheumatologist who can assess your individual case.

Hmm, I don't know about Skyrizi specifically, but I hope it helps you feel better! When I have any aches, sometimes a nice comforting hot meal and a good night's sleep can make a small difference in general well-being. But for arthritis, definitely consult a doctor!

Beta, for joint pain, sometimes warm oil massage with sesame oil helps, and good food. But for such a complex condition like psoriatic arthritis, you need proper medical advice. These new medicines are strong; only a doctor can tell you what is right.

Oh, I've heard of Skyrizi for psoriasis, but for psoriatic arthritis too? That's interesting. I'm always looking up new treatments for conditions like these. Good to know it might be an option.

Please, for something like psoriatic arthritis, do not rely on internet information. Medications like Skyrizi are serious. You MUST speak to your rheumatologist or dermatologist about what treatments are approved and suitable for YOUR specific condition.
