Is skin cancer painful to touch?

I have a weird bump on my arm that looks a bit suspicious. It doesn't hurt when I touch it, but I'm still concerned. Is skin cancer typically painful to touch, or can it be painless?

Not necessarily. While some skin cancers, especially if ulcerated or advanced, can be tender or painful to touch, many are not. Basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas, for instance, might just be a non-healing sore or a persistent bump. It's always best to get a professional medical opinion on any suspicious lesion.

Efficiency is key in health too. While some skin cancers can be tender to touch, many are asymptomatic. Don't delay a dermatologist visit based solely on whether it hurts or not. Timely evaluation is the most realistic and effective approach.

Bhai, sometimes yes, sometimes no. It's not a fixed rule. Main thing is, if you have a spot that feels unusual or looks different, whether it pains on touching or not, get it shown to a doctor. Don't wait for pain. Practical solution hai.

Ho na, sometimes they can be sensitive or even hurt a little if you touch them. But not always! Some spots don't feel anything. So, just feeling no pain doesn't mean it's fine. Best to get it checked, haan na?

You know, sometimes you get a sore muscle and it hurts to touch, sometimes it's just a dull ache. Skin cancer is similar, not all types or stages are painful to touch. Don't wait for pain to be your only signal. Regular check-ups for your skin are as important as your diet and exercise.
