Is shivering with fever dangerous?

My son has a high fever, about 102 degrees, and he's also shivering quite a bit. My wife is very worried. Is it dangerous when someone shivers along with a fever?

Not always dangerous by itself, but it indicates a high or rapidly rising fever. If it's severe or accompanied by other symptoms like confusion or difficulty breathing, you should definitely consult a doctor quickly.

Agar bahut zyada shivering ho rahi hai aur bukhar bhi tez hai, toh thoda dhyaan dena chahiye. Humare ghar mein toh turant doctor ke paas le jaate hain baccho ko. Bhagwan na kare kuch ho, par precautions lena achha hai.

My health app actually sent an alert about this once. It said shivering means your body is fighting hard. If the fever spikes really high or doesn't come down, it's a sign to definitely get medical advice.

Honestly, I wouldn't take chances. Once my cousin had severe shivering with high fever and it led to febrile seizures. It's always best to get it checked by a doctor, especially if it's very intense or prolonged.

Anytime a fever is accompanied by severe shivering or other concerning symptoms, it's a signal to see a doctor. It's always better to be safe than to regret later, don't self-diagnose such things.

Dekho, pehle ke zamane mein toh aksar hota tha. Bachpan mein humein bhi bukhar ke saath kampkapi lagti thi. Agar thoda bukhar hai toh normal hai, par agar bahut tez ho toh doctor ko zaroor dikhana chahiye. Experience se bol raha hoon.
