Is scarlet fever common?

I've heard about scarlet fever in history books, but I don't know anyone who has had it recently. My friend's child has a fever and rash, and the doctor is testing for it. Is scarlet fever still common these days?

Is anything 'common' these days besides my need for more sleep? 😂 I honestly thought scarlet fever was something from old books. But if it's common, then maybe I should be worried? My immune system is barely holding on.

Actually, it's becoming a bit more common again, especially in children. It used to be very prevalent, then less so, but there have been reports of increasing cases lately. So, it's good to be aware of the symptoms, especially if you have kids around.

I remember hearing about some outbreaks a few years ago and totally freaked out, thinking it was a huge epidemic. While it's not as common as it was decades ago, it does still pop up, especially in schools. It's good to be informed, but don't panic, it's treatable.

Is anything truly 'common' or is it just the internet making every rare ailment sound like the next pandemic? 😂 Jokes aside, I've heard of occasional cases, mostly among school-going kids. So, not 'common' in the flu sense, but not unheard of either.

It's not as prevalent as it was decades ago, but it's certainly not eradicated. There have been periodic outbreaks, especially in congested areas or schools. So, while not 'common' like a cold, it's a recurring health concern that people should be aware of.

Scarlet fever isn't as common as it was before antibiotics, but it does still occur, particularly in children. There have been reports of increased incidence in some regions. So, it's not a rare disease to dismiss, and prompt medical attention is always advised.

From what I've been reading, it's not super common like the flu, but it definitely still exists and sometimes there are outbreaks. Especially among kids. So it's not a rare disease, but not an everyday thing either. Good to know about it.

Honestly, I thought it was a thing of the past! But no, it's still around, mostly affects kids. I've heard of cases, and it's definitely not something you want to try home remedies for. Doctor visits are a must for this.

It's not super common in adults who maintain good hygiene and strong immunity through diet and exercise. However, it can circulate in environments like schools. So, while it's not an everyday concern, vigilance is still important, especially for parents.
