Is sauna good for asthma?

I suffer from asthma, and sometimes the cold weather triggers it. I was thinking of trying a sauna for relaxation and warmth. Is sauna generally good for people with asthma, or could it be risky?

Beta, for asthma, steam is often used at home to clear the chest, but a full sauna is different. The air can be very dry or too hot, which might not be good for sensitive lungs. Always be careful. For traditional remedies, we often prefer gentle steam or herbal teas. For something as serious as asthma, listen to the doctor first.

I personally have mild asthma and found saunas made my breathing a bit difficult, felt like the air was too heavy. Steam baths are sometimes okay if I'm congested, but a dry sauna? Not for me. Everyone's asthma is different though, so my experience might not be yours.

Yaar, sauna for asthma? I'd be super careful, actually. Some people find the humid air in a steam room helps with breathing, but a dry sauna can actually irritate lungs for asthmatics. So, before you go trying it, pls ask your doctor, haan? Don't experiment with breathing.

Listen, with asthma, your lungs are already sensitive. While some people find relief with steam, a sauna's dry heat can sometimes trigger an asthma attack. It's not something to just try out. Please, speak to your pulmonologist before considering it. Your respiratory health is too important to take risks with.

My daughter has asthma, and her doctor told us to be very careful with extreme temperatures. While some warm, humid air can help clear airways, a very hot or dry sauna could easily trigger an attack. It's a no-go for her, and I would advise any parent to discuss it thoroughly with their child's pediatrician or pulmonologist.

At a good hospital, they always emphasize personalized care, especially for chronic conditions like asthma. A sauna might be beneficial for some, but for others, it could be dangerous. Don't rely on general advice; specifically ask your lung specialist if sauna use is safe and beneficial for *your* type and severity of asthma. Get precise instructions.
