Is salmon kidney friendly?

My father has some kidney issues, and we're always looking for kidney-friendly food options for him. He likes fish a lot. Is salmon considered kidney-friendly, or should he avoid it?

Kidney health is serious, haan. My neighbour had some issues and getting all the tests done was quite expensive. For something like diet, especially if there's an existing condition, it's better to just ask a kidney specialist directly rather than guessing. Saves money and health in the long run.

Look, if you're concerned about kidney health, especially with existing conditions, don't rely on general info. Schedule a quick consultation with a nephrologist or a dietitian who specializes in kidney diets. They can give precise recommendations based on your medical history and current reports, saving you time and worry in the long run.

I have thyroid issues so I'm very careful about what I eat and always follow my doctor's advice. For kidney friendly food, salmon is generally healthy, but if someone already has kidney problems, protein intake might need to be monitored. Always best to discuss with a nephrologist, they'll know best based on your reports.

My son had some kidney issues when he was younger, and our doctor gave us a very specific diet chart. While salmon is healthy, for kidney patients, sometimes protein has to be limited. So, please, if it's for someone with a kidney condition, consult their doctor or a renal dietitian. Every case is different.

That's an interesting question! I was wondering about this too. Salmon has good fats and protein but too much protein can be hard on kidneys for some people. I guess it depends on if your kidneys are already healthy or if there's any existing problem. Need to find out more.
