Is running the best weight loss exercise?

I've gained quite a bit of weight since working from home, and my friends always tell me running is the best way to lose it fast. But I get tired very quickly. Is running really the most effective exercise for losing weight, or are there other options I should consider?

Honestly, 'best' is subjective. Running is great for calorie burn and heart health, no doubt. But it can be high impact, so if you have knee issues or are very overweight, it might not be the best starting point. Consult a physio or trainer first.

For weight loss, I truly believe diet plays an even bigger role than exercise. Running helps a lot, but if your food intake isn't right, you won't see results. Focus on balanced meals with lots of veggies and protein alongside any exercise.

Haan, running toh best hai for burning calories! Mere do dost ne running se hi kitna weight lose kiya hai. Bas shuru thoda dheere karna, ekdum se tez mat bhagna warna injuries ho sakti hain.

Beta, running achha hai par sirf usse sab nahi hota. Humare zamane mein log chalte bahut the aur ghar ka kaam karte the, woh bhi ek tarah ki exercise hi thi. Jo aapko pasand ho aur aap regularly kar sako, wahi sabse achha hai.

Running is highly effective for weight loss if you're consistent and pair it with a good diet. It boosts your metabolism and cardiovascular health. But it's not the ONLY way. Find what works for your body and lifestyle.

Please be careful. I started running suddenly without proper guidance and ended up with a bad knee injury. It set me back for months. My doctor said to always get a health check-up before starting any intense exercise. Don't make my mistake.

While running is very energizing, a holistic approach is always better. Yoga and pranayama can help with metabolism and stress, which are also linked to weight. A combination often yields better, more sustainable results for both body and mind.

I always worry if I'm doing the 'best' exercise too! Running seems like a good choice, but what if it's too much for my joints? Maybe start slow and see how you feel? It's better to do something consistently than push too hard and get injured.

Running toh achha hi hota hai. Humare yahan toh log subah subah kheto mein chalte hain, woh bhi ek tarah ki daud hi hai na. Mann lagake jo bhi karo, achha hi phal milega. Bas dhyan rakhna, khaana peena bhi sahi ho.

My doctor explained that running is excellent for calorie expenditure, but resistance training is also crucial for building muscle, which further boosts metabolism. So, a mix of cardio like running and strength training is often recommended for optimal and sustained weight loss.

Yaar, I just lost 10 kgs in 3 months and running was a HUGE part of it! But I combined it with strength training and cutting down on junk food. It works wonders but you need to be patient and regular. Start with brisk walking then gradually increase speed.

Listen, before you decide anything, please see a doctor. I once thought I knew best and pushed myself too hard. Ended up with a muscle tear that took ages to heal. Just get a basic check-up to make sure running is safe for your body type and current fitness level.
