Is right arm pain a sign of heart attack?

For the past few days, I've had this dull ache in my right arm, sometimes extending to my shoulder. My neighbour joked it could be a heart attack, and now I'm a bit worried. Is right arm pain a symptom of a heart attack?

Right arm pain *can* be a symptom of a heart attack, but it's not as common as left arm pain. However, it's a serious enough symptom that you should not ignore it. Just like with thyroid issues, it's always best to get it checked by a doctor immediately rather than speculating. Don't delay.

Oh God, now even right arm pain means heart attack? Haven't we suffered enough? 😩 Honestly, any weird pain in the chest or arms should be checked out, because who needs more stress, right? I'm already sleepy just thinking about it.

Right arm pain can sometimes be a sign of a heart attack, though it's less common than left arm pain. It's always best to get any unusual chest or arm pain checked by a doctor immediately to be safe.

Oh no, really? I always thought it was only the left arm. What other symptoms should someone look out for if they have right arm pain? This is a bit scary.

Yikes! 😬 While left arm pain is more common for heart attacks, right arm pain can sometimes be a symptom too, especially for women! It's super important to get any chest or arm pain checked out ASAP by a doctor, just to be on the safe side! Don't delay! ❤️

Any pain that worries you, especially around the chest or arms, should be treated seriously. At Fortis, my doctor always says if you suspect anything heart-related, don't wait. Go to the ER immediately. It's better to be safe and get it checked by professionals.

My doctor explained that while left arm pain is more typical, pain radiating to the right arm, jaw, or back can also be a sign of a heart attack, especially if accompanied by chest discomfort, shortness of breath, or sweating. It's not a common presentation, but it warrants immediate medical attention. Don't self-diagnose.
