Is rheumatoid arthritis deadly?

My friend's aunt has rheumatoid arthritis and her condition seems to be getting worse with time. It makes me wonder, can this disease be deadly? Is it something that people die from?

Man, my sleep cycle is already dead, but thankfully RA itself is not deadly! Yes, it can cause severe joint issues if you ignore it, but you are not going to drop dead from it. Just go see a specialist, take your pills, and try to get some sleep unlike me.

I am no doctor so I won't give medical advice, but my grandmother lived a long, beautiful life up to 85 with rheumatoid arthritis. Yes, her joints pained and she had bad days, but it was never life-threatening. She just visited her rheumatologist regularly.

No, betaji, it is not a deadly disease, so please don't keep these scary thoughts in your mind. To handle the pain, I always drink warm ginger tea and apply warm mustard oil on the joints, which gives so much relief. But please keep taking your doctor's medicines as well.

Honestly, stop reading weird horror stories on WhatsApp and random blogs. RA is a chronic condition, not a death sentence. Skip all the self-proclaimed health gurus online and talk to a qualified rheumatologist to understand how the disease actually progresses.

Oh, I completely panicked when my mother was diagnosed and thought the worst! But we soon realized it's highly manageable. It is absolutely not deadly, so please breathe easy. Once you start the right treatment, life goes back to normal pretty fast.

No, it is not a fatal illness. Our bodies sometimes face imbalances, but with a peaceful mind and proper medical care, we can handle anything. Keep your thoughts positive, eat simple food, and trust your doctors to guide you through this journey.
