Is rheumatoid arthritis a connective tissue disorder?

My aunt has been having some very painful joint issues, and the doctor mentioned rheumatoid arthritis. She's asking if it's a 'connective tissue disorder'. Can you tell me, is rheumatoid arthritis a connective tissue disorder?

Yes, from what I read during my research, rheumatoid arthritis is indeed classified as an autoimmune connective tissue disorder because it primarily attacks the synovium of the joints.

Yes, it is a connective tissue disorder. If you have this along with diabetes, you must be extremely careful with physical activity and a low-sugar, low-inflammation diet to keep symptoms under control.

Oh God, yes it is. I got so worried reading about connective tissue disorders thinking it affects the whole body. But don't stress too much, many people manage it successfully with early doctor visits.

Yes, it is! Basically, your joints and tissues decide to have a small family feud. Just get a good doctor to act as the mediator, and things will stay peaceful.

Yes, it is. My sister was diagnosed with it last year. It is a connective tissue disorder, but with proper medicines and simple lifestyle changes, she is doing completely fine now.
