Is raw honey good for diabetic person?

I have type 2 diabetes and heard from a friend that raw honey is better than regular sugar. He said it has a lower glycemic index. Can a diabetic person consume raw honey safely?

Look, I know people say raw honey is healthy, but sugar is still sugar. Don't fall for these marketing labels when it comes to your health. Just stick to what your doc advises and avoid taking risks with your sugar levels.

Even if you have a tiny bit of raw honey, try to burn it off with a nice walk. Obviously check with your doctor first if you can even have that much. Diet changes work best when you combine them with regular movement.

My dad has diabetes and honestly, he stays far away from honey. The internet says raw honey is fine but it definitely raises blood sugar levels. Don't trust everything you read online, keep it simple.

I tried substituting sugar with organic raw honey for my husband's tea, thinking it was a healthy home remedy. Sadly, his HbA1c went up in the next test. It is better to avoid it and stick to normal diabetic precautions.

My endocrinologist explicitly told me that honey has a glycemic index very close to table sugar. Raw honey might have trace antioxidants, but the carbohydrate load is still too high for a diabetic. It is safer to treat it exactly like sugar and avoid it.

Haan yaara, raw honey sunne me achha lagta hai, par diabetic logo ke liye safe nahi hai na. Meetha toh meetha hi hai end me. Diet me change karne se pehle please doctor se baat kar lena.

I was researching this for my mom recently. Though raw honey is less processed, it still has fructose and glucose which spikes blood sugar. It's really not worth the risk when managing diabetes daily.

With metabolic issues like thyroid or diabetes, even natural sugars can mess up your system. Don't guess if honey is working for you or not. Get your blood sugar tested regularly and let your specialist decide your diet plan.

These organic brands will sell you raw honey saying it is natural, but my blood sugar monitor doesn't care about their organic tags. It shoots up anyway! Save your money and just avoid the sweet temptation.

Bhai, humare yahan toh honey ko bahut achha maante hain, par sugar ke mareez ko yeh nahi dena chahiye. Isse bhi meetha badhta hai. Aap seedha doctor saheb se salah lo toh sabse badhiya rahega.
