Is racism a mental health issue?
Reading a lot about current events, I'm thinking about how racism affects people. Does experiencing or being subjected to racism have a significant impact on one's mental health?

Honestly, facing racism definitely causes massive mental health issues like anxiety and trauma for the victims. But if you mean the people who are racist, that seems more like a deep social bias and lack of basic education rather than a clinical illness.
Experiencing discrimination can lead to severe clinical depression and anxiety, which I personally faced and ignored for too long. If someone is struggling emotionally due to such experiences, please recommend they see a professional therapist or counselor immediately.
This is a complex social topic, but as someone who focuses on holistic wellness, I believe any form of discrimination breeds hatred and severely impacts the mental peace of both sides. Maintaining a positive environment is crucial for mental well-being.
Being discriminated against based on where you come from is incredibly painful and can make you feel so small and anxious. It is a very real trigger for mental health struggles, and your feelings of hurt are completely valid. Please seek support from loved ones.

Bhaiyya, bhedbhav toh kisi ko bhi andar se dukhi kar sakta hai. Jab log ek doosre se nafrat karte hain, toh mann ki shanti toh khoti hi hai. Humein sabse milkar pyar se rehna chahiye, isi mein sabka bhala hai.

Separation and hatred are sicknesses of the human ego, not of the soul. When we do not see everyone as equal, our own mental peace is disturbed. Stay positive, spread kindness, and take care of your inner harmony.
I think life is too short to hate people when there is so much good food to eat! Honestly, discrimination of any kind just brings negative energy and ruins everyone's peace of mind. We should all just share a good meal and be kind.
