Is psoriatic arthritis worse in the morning?

My joints feel so stiff and painful when I wake up, it's really hard to get moving. My doctor mentioned psoriatic arthritis a while back, and I'm wondering if this morning stiffness is a common thing or if it gets worse then.

Don't go by what random people suggest online about morning stiffness cures like drinking hot water or rubbing oils. Yes, inflammatory arthritis is typically worse in the morning, but you need a real doctor to verify this and prescribe proper medications to reduce the inflammation.

Haan, bilkul! Morning stiffness is a classic sign of this arthritis, you know. Uthte hi fingers aur joints bilkul tight lagte hain, soft hone me ek-do ghante lag jaate hain. Iske liye doctor se consult karna hi best hai, self-medicate mat karna.

Yes, morning stiffness is very common because of lack of movement overnight. I find that doing some gentle, low-impact mobility exercises right in bed helps get the synovial fluid moving. Of course, keep your doctor in the loop before starting any new movement routine.

Look, simple baat hai. If your joints are stiff for more than 30 minutes right after you wake up, it is a sign of inflammation. This is very common with psoriatic arthritis. Stop ignoring it and visit a specialist instead of waiting for it to get better on its own.

In my experience, yes, waking up is the hardest part of the day. My feet and lower back feel completely locked up for the first hour. I usually have to take a warm shower to ease the stiffness, but I highly recommend discussing this specific pattern with your doctor.

Oh, mornings are the worst for me too, and it makes me so anxious about how I will manage my daily chores! I get so worried that my joints are getting permanently damaged. If you are feeling this stiffness every morning, please talk to your doctor so they can reassure you and adjust your dosage.
