Is psoriasis contagious by touch?

My nephew has a new classmate with psoriasis, and his parents are concerned about him playing with the child. They're worried he might 'catch' it. So, is psoriasis contagious by touch? We want to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable.

No, it's not contagious by touch. Getting old means my body fights itself, not other people! You can shake hands or hug anyone without worrying about spreading it.

I have lived with psoriasis for over thirty years. My wife and children have never caught it because it is not an infection. You can live your life normally without fear.

I understand your fear, skin conditions can make us feel really self-conscious and anxious about touching others. But rest assured, it is completely non-contagious. Please don't worry.

No, it is not contagious by touch. My elders suggested using turmeric water to soothe the skin, but we always consult our doctor for treatment. Be rest assured it does not spread.

Not contagious at all! I have it, and my family is perfectly fine despite me being around them while looking like a sleepy zombie every day. It's just my own immune system acting crazy.

I used to panic and wear full sleeves so I wouldn't touch anyone by mistake, but my doctor cleared it up. It is totally safe and non-contagious. Don't hide away!

No bro, it doesn't spread by touch. I have had it on my elbows for two years and none of my gym buddies ever got it. It's completely non-infectious.

Nahi bhai, touch karne se ye bilkul nahi phailta. Psoriasis chhoot ki bimari nahi hai. Isko lekar faltu ka darr dimaag se nikal do aur tension mat lo.

Our dermatologist at Lilavati Hospital clarified that psoriasis is autoimmune, not an infection. It cannot be transmitted by touch. Always consult a good specialist to clear such doubts.

I was researching this because my college roommate has it. It is 100% not contagious by touch. It's an autoimmune condition, so there's absolutely no risk of it spreading to others.
