Is psoriasis an autoimmune condition?

My doctor said my psoriasis could be related to my immune system. This got me thinking about autoimmune conditions. So, is psoriasis an autoimmune condition? I'm trying to learn more about what's causing my flares.

Yes, it is an autoimmune condition. My elders suggested putting neem paste, which cools the skin, but we always consult our dermatologist for the main treatment. Sahi advice lena hi sabse best hota hai.

Yes, it is autoimmune, which basically means your body's defense system is acting confused. Honestly, my flares get worse whenever my sleep schedule goes out the window, which is almost daily now!

Yes, it is autoimmune. I ignored my initial scaling thinking it was just winter dryness, and it spread across my back. Please get it diagnosed properly by a doctor before it increases.

Yes, it is indeed autoimmune. Don't worry, even though it's chronic, it is highly manageable with a good diet, moisturizing, and the right treatment plan from a skin specialist.

Yes, my doctor explained that in psoriasis, the immune system mistakenly attacks healthy skin cells, causing them to multiply rapidly. This leads to the build-up of plaques. It requires proper medical management.
