Is psoriasis a chronic illness?

My brother has been diagnosed with psoriasis, and it's been really challenging for him. We're trying to understand more about it. I was wondering, is psoriasis considered a chronic illness? It seems like it's something he'll have to manage for a long time.

Yes, it's chronic, meaning it stays for a long time. I have a friend who manages it, and he had to cut down on junk food and oily chole bhature because certain foods trigger flares. Diet plays a big role in keeping it quiet!

Haan babu, ye thoda lamba chalne wala rog hai. Isme skin pe thoda khujli aur daag ho jata hai jo baar-baar wapas aa sakta hai. Iska ilaaj kisi bade skin doctor se acche se karwana chahiye.

Yes, psoriasis is indeed a chronic autoimmune condition. It has phases where it flares up and phases where it clears up completely. Don't worry, with proper management, a good moisturizer, and a doctor's guidance, you can lead a completely normal life.

People online will tell you ten different home remedies to cure it, but let me tell you that psoriasis is chronic and cannot be cured overnight. You need proper dermatological treatment. Don't waste time on random creams without a prescription.

Yes, it is chronic. I track my skin flares and sleep cycles on my health app and noticed stress is a huge trigger. Managing your lifestyle, staying hydrated, and keeping tabs on your triggers definitely helps control the flare-ups.
