Is prostate cancer contagious?

My wife is really worried after my diagnosis. I keep telling her it's not something you can catch. But just to be sure, is prostate cancer contagious?

Nahi re, bilkul nahi! Cancer contagious nahi hota, ho na. You cannot catch it by sitting close, sharing food, or touching someone. It is a completely non-infectious condition, so please do not worry about this at all.

No, prostate cancer is definitely not contagious. It is a genetic and cellular disease that develops internally in the prostate gland. You cannot catch it from anyone else, nor can you pass it on through physical contact.

Absolutely not. Cancer is not a virus or flu that spreads from person to person. It is just abnormal cell growth inside a man's prostate gland. There is zero risk of transmission to anyone else, so let's be clear on that.

I completely agree with the others. No cancer is contagious, so you can safely care for your loved ones without any fear of catching it.

As someone who just finished my treatment for prostate cancer, I can reassure you 100% that it is not contagious. My family took care of me throughout without any issues. It is purely an internal health malfunction, not an infection.

No, it doesn't work like an infection. It develops due to internal cellular changes, age, and genetics, not by catching a bug from someone. Focus on a good lifestyle, clean diet, and regular doctor checks—that is what actually matters.

Not at all, dear. It is completely safe to be around someone who has prostate cancer; you can hug them, share meals, and care for them normally. They need all your love and support right now, so please don't let such fears stop you from being close.
